Based in Medicine Hat, Alberta, we are more than just a Jamaican restaurant. It is a cultural fusion created by a vibrant family of eight, with both Jamaican and Canadian roots. Led by a Jamaican and a Canadian chef, our kitchen brings you bold, unforgettable flavours rooted in history, tradition, and love.

Smoky, spicy and loaded with flavour, these hearty dishes will leave you craving the next bite.
Tender strips of beef sauteed to perfection with scotch bonnet pepper, pimento, onion and assorted bell peppers and served with a carrot and raisin salad, market vegetables and Jamaican-style rice and peas.
Apple wood smoked pork, marinated in traditional jerk seasoning, grilled to perfection. Served with coconut rice, vegetable of the day and cole slaw made with cabbage, carrots and mayonnaise. (or a basic vinaigrette for those who don’t use mayo)
Chicken quarters smoked with apple wood, traditionally seasoned and grilled to perfection. Served with rice, fried plantain, cucumber and yogurt salad.
Chicken seasoned with annatto spice, drenched with Annotto seasoned flour and fried in Annotto oil Served with the traditional rice and peas, veg of the day and an annatto coconut cream sauce.
Fried fish garnished with colourful bell peppers and onions sautéed in vinegar, hot pepper and pimento. Served with festivals or rice of the day with jerk sauce on the side.

Looking like a pineapple upside-down cake but filled with mango and papaya, served with a vanilla and blueberry rum sauce.
Bread pudding made with blueberries and JB white rum, served with a vanilla and blueberry rum sauce, topped with vanilla ice cream.

Simple and refreshing no-sugar-added drink made from blended carrots, ginger and red beets with a touch of lemon juice. Served on the rocks.
Fresh cucumber, carrot and ginger blended and served chilled with a touch of honey.
Freshly blended all-natural mango, carrot, ginger and pineapple. Served chilled with no sugar added.
A special tropical hibiscus plant, brewed with cloves, oranges, pineapple and ginger. Strained and add sugar. Served chilled.

I bring to Canada a rich blend of academic qualifications, professional training, and hands-on experience from some of Jamaica’s leading hospitality institutions. Early in my journey, I was drawn to the creativity, structure, and warmth of the food and beverage world. My passion is to share this art through exceptional culinary preparation and unforgettable customer experiences.
